The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the post of Learning Director for PE and Sport at Lees Brook Community School. This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead an established and experienced PE department.
The Trust is seeking to appoint a Learning Director who ensures students receive the highest standards of teaching and learning to ensure the best possible sporting and academic outcomes. The successful applicant will have an infectious enthusiasm for sport, education and the delivery of a wide range of extra-curricular activities. They will inspire both students and staff to ensure all learners achieve their potential. The applicant will also be an outstanding practitioner and will have made significant contributions to raising standards and have proven leadership skills. The applicant will be someone who is visionary in their approach, innovative and committed to making the PE Department the best it can be.
Lees Brook Community school recognises the value in PE and Sport; both Key Stage 3 and 4 benefit from two hours of core PE time in each year group. PE and Sport is a popular option choice and knowledge of KS4 examination courses is essential.
