Co-op Academy Priesthorpe aims to provide an outstanding education for all our learners, founded on co-operative values, at the heart of the community.

 An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team of Learning Managers. The successful candidate will provide short-term cover across specific curriculum areas in Key Stages 3 and 4 and will work in partnership with teaching and support staff in the planning, development and implementation of activities that support our existing curriculum. 

We are seeking to appoint an individual who is able to use their own initiative whilst also being able to relate well and establish a rapport with young people. The person appointed will be committed to securing student learning and progress while demonstrating flexibility and being able to work constructively as a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities. 

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, be committed to securing student learning and someone who is:  Able to inspire and enthuse students  Committed to raising standards for all  Able to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new ideas  Able to role-model professional standards and behaviours

Co-op Academy Priesthorpe is a 'Good' school in Leeds (Ofsted, 2024) with Outstanding features. It is an 11-18 Academy with a Sixth Form and an intake of over 1000 students and around 135 staff. Originally a co-operative foundation school and part of the Leeds Co-operative School’s Network, they joined the Co-operative Academies Trust in July 2017.
