We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Manager to join our team of staff at Outwood Grange Academy. You will be required to work with our post 16 students through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring in order to maximise student attainment. You will work closely with the post 16 Administrator, Carers Advisors, Inclusion Co-ordinators and the Senior Leadership Team on intervention strategies, and targeting students for intervention. This role is a fluid Learning Manager role, where the opportunity to work with all year groups in the future is available.
You will utilise the Academy’s systems in order to track and intervene with low attendees or students who are consistently late for lessons, post 16 and post 18 pathways and UCAS applications. Your role will have emphasis on intervention and student tracking throughout the day using the Academy’s “Praising Stars” system. You will attend case conferences and other meetings regarding students in your year alongside preparing referrals and reports for those students identified as needing intervention.
Please note that there is currently a job evaluation exercise being undertaken across the Trust. The salary advertised for this post is therefore subject to job evaluation and may change.
