Learning Mentor  

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Learning Mentor to join our growing team.   

You will be a key member of the team of practitioners responsible for the education and care of the children in the school. You will be involved in contributing to the teaching and learning programme in accordance with the ethos, aims and objectives of the school. 

The Learning Mentor will provide a complementary service to teachers and other staff, addressing the needs of learners who require help in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential.

They work with a range of learners, but give priority to those who need the most help, especially those experiencing multiple disadvantages. 

The variety of issues covered will range from punctuality, absence, challenging behaviour and abuse to working with able and gifted learners who are experiencing difficulties.
