POSITION : LEARNING MENTOR(S) 

CONTRACT :  Fixed Term to July 2020 

WORK PATTERN :  Part Time : 15 hours per week

Position 1 : x5 mornings per week
Position 2 : x5 afternoons per week (including lunchtimes)

OR 

x1 full time position (25 hours per week)

PAY GRADE / SCALE :  Grade 3 / SCP14-17

FTE SALARY : £17,681 to £18,672  

CLOSING DATE : Monday 3rd December 2018

INTERVIEW DATE : Monday 10th December 2018 

START DATE : to commence January 2019 


About the Role

This is a fixed term contract (term time only) to cover the one to one support required by an individual pupil.  This is a Funded Role and therefore this appointment will end when either the child leaves the school or when the funding for this role ceases.  We expect the contract to terminate at the end of the summer term 2020.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and nurturing Learning Mentor experienced in working with ASD pupils and with strong behaviour management skills to work with an individual pupil to support them to access learning in their classroom.

  • be a team player who supports others and shares good practice
