Within this role as a Learning Mentor you will provide a complimentary service to teachers and support staff in the school. Alongside the teaching and other support staff, you will work to address the needs of pupils who require support to overcome the barriers to learning (social, emotional and mental health) they may experience both inside and outside the school, in order that they are able to find their remarkable This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working with children, ideally children with SEMH. We are looking for someone with NVQ Level 3 in childcare or the equivalent and any experience or training in Restorative Practice, Trauma Informed Approaches, Thrive or Nurture would be an asset.

Our Curriculum
At The Ridge Academy we teach a curriculum that is similar to other schools because we believe that our pupils have the right to the same school experience as any other primary aged child. The key difference in our curriculum delivery is that it is delivered in very small classes with high levels of staffing.
