Learning Mentor

Weelsby Academy are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor to join our academy as soon as possible. As a Learning Mentor, you will provide support and guidance to children and young people by removing barriers to learning in order to promote effective participation in learning opportunities, enhance individual learning, raise aspirations and achieve full potential.

Salary: Grade F points 14 - 19 

(£23,484 - £25,927 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata

The minimum actual pro rata’d salary per annum for this job starts at £18,498.18

Hours:  32.5 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days / Permanent

Weelsby Academy is situated in the East Marsh area of Grimsby, less than an hour drive from Hull, Lincoln and Scunthorpe.  We have an exciting curriculum designed to give children first hand experiences of the world around them. We foster a can do approach and with everyone working together, we strive to make our school the best and the children the best they can be.
