Learning Mentors (various hours available) 

£19,250 per annum (35 hours per week, 40 weeks)

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our team of Learning Mentors. You will help facilitate learning for 14-18s and adult students at all levels in our vibrant College. You will be working with cross college curriculum teams, as well as liaising with external agencies, to support students and their learning. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of support for a variety of subjects and for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. 

This includes: classroom support, one-to-one support, initial advice and guidance, progression support and supervised lunch and break cover. This is an exciting and challenging role, for which you’ll need an understanding of good practice in supporting learners with additional needs. You will also need to be a good team player and have strong English and IT skills. 

Desirable experience would include: Teaching Assistant in a school, support of English and Maths and support of students with additional needs. 

Desirable qualifications would include: GCSEs grade A-C in English and Maths.
