37 hours a week, term time (39 weeks a year)

£18,070 - £22,658 (£15,377 - £19,281 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a committed and talented Learning Mentor with Cover Responsibilities to work at the Woodvale Primary Academy.

The successful post holder will be required to work as a Learning Mentor, taking booster groups of pupils to help overcome barriers to learning and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher, including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time.  They will work alongside the Class Teachers to plan and teach exciting and engaging learning opportunities.

• the ability to relate to and engage with a wide range of pupils

• great organisational skills

• high standards in terms of achievement and behaviour.

The Woodvale Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust is a vibrant and caring school located in Northampton.   It has the capacity to cater for 420 pupils from Nursery to Year 6.  Both the academy and the Trust are committed to improving the life chances of pupils.
