Preston Manor is a successful, oversubscribed, all-through Co-operative School in the highly diverse London borough of Brent. We are a large learning community with students from ages 4-19 years old and our curriculum expands across six key stages. We are looking for an inspiring Learning Resource Centre Manager to be responsible for the management of the LRC, across both Upper & Lower School

As a Learning Resource Manager, you will be responsible for providing a stimulating and friendly atmosphere to encourage students, staff and families in order to promote reading for pleasure. We are looking to appoint a person with good literacy, numeracy and communication skills as well as initiative, flexibility, a sense of humour and the ability to relate to children from a variety of ages and needs. We are particularly keen to hear from graduates who are looking to go into the teaching profession. Ex-perience of working with young people of secondary age would be an advantage.

Preston Manor School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through state school with academy status, based in Wembley, north-west London, for children aged 4-18. It is a member of the family of Co-operative Trust Schools. It is a large school with approximately 1,900 pupils.
