Permanent role to start as soon as possible

Salary: 20 hours per week for 39 weeks per year, Grade 4 

SCP 17 – 22: £14,858 - £17,322 pro rata

As part of our exciting journey towards achieving world-class status, we are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated person who is passionate, enthusiastic and relentless about children enjoying and learning to read.


The successful candidate will

· Enthuse all children to read: the high achievers who already excel at reading, those who are new to English, and those who can read but don't want to.

· Be full of ideas and be relentless about seeing them through

· Be able to deal professionally with student queries and admin at student services, modelling exemplary behaviours at all times

· Be able to manage the academy's book lending service

· Be relentless about ensuring all students carry, read and renew books

· Be able to speak in Standard English and use every opportunity to promote literacy in and around the academy to staff and students
