Job overview

Learning Support Assistants / 1:1 Learning Support Assistants

We are looking to recruit Learning Support Assistants and 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to support the Teaching and Learning for children with SEND across a range of subjects. You will be required to assist the students with organisation and completion of classwork, planning for homework and general day to day activities.

Ideally suited to someone with high personal and professional standards with drive, energy and commitment. To help build on the current inclusive and caring ethos of the school, to ensure that every child achieves their full potential. Experience of working with children with learning difficulties would be an advantage.

For the Learning Support Assistant vacancy the hours would be 29 hours per week term time only.

For the 1:1 vacancy, we currently have 2 students who are currently in Year 7 and 1 in Year 10. The posts vary from 12 to 20 hours per week, term time only. These contracts are tied directly to funding for these pupils and if the funding stops or the students leave the school the contract would cease.

We are happy to offer flexible start times for both these roles to enable parents/carers to drop off children as school.

Please state experience and skills and strengths clearly in your application. If you require further details please contact pbargery@tonbridgefederation.co.uk
