Subject  to increase after successful probation 

We wish to appoint exceptional individuals/ graduates to work as Learning Support Assistants within our SEN/D team, supporting students with Special Education needs and/or disabilities. Hornsey School for Girls is an ambitious school, and seeks like-minded, innovative individuals to join the warm and welcoming staff team. 

The successful candidates for the posts would ideally have:

· A degree 

· An emotionally intelligent response to working with students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. 

· A track record of working with young people in an educational setting. 

· A friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality

· The ability to use own initiative and to lead on a key pastoral support programme (i.e Peer mentors, Jack Petchey Foundation programmes, Literacy, Numeracy or EAL support, EPQ) – these will be negotiated individually with successful candidates
