Learning Support Assistants Required for January 2018

We are seeking multiple LSAs to join our team from January. You will need to have a working knowledge and understanding of Junior/Senior School curricula.  Experience with autistic students would be advantageous.

About Hurst Lodge School

Hurst Lodge is a mixed, non-selective, Roman Catholic all-through school with sixth form situated in Ascot, Berkshire. It is an independent boarding school. The school capacity is 220 children aged 3-18.

Hurst Lodge was founded in 1942 in London as a dance school by Doris Stainer, before moving to Sunningdale. It moved to its current site in Ascot in 1999.

Hurst Lodge, which prides itself on being a nurturing environment, has a particular focus on creativity and building self-worth. It offers a broad general education to help children become well-rounded, as well as supporting them with personal goals.

Since its origins as a dance school, Hurst Lodge has focused on the arts. Extra-curricular activities include drama and art classes as well as maths or science clubs. ICT has improved in recent years and there is a comprehensive careers programme for students, particularly for older students and sixth-formers.
