32.5 hours per week, term time plus INSET days (39 weeks with 5.1 weeks holiday pay)
Working pattern: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 8.40am – 3.15pm and 8.45am – 3.30pm on Tuesday’s to include 4x paid working lunches.

The Chiltern Hills Academy invites applications for an exciting opportunity to join the staff of a successful, mixed 11-18 Church of England Academy in the Chiltern Hills, conveniently situated at the end of the London Underground Metropolitan Line.
We are committed to helping all our students to achieve their full potential in a supportive and friendly environment. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a good general level of education to support our pupils and teachers in enhancing the learning of a small group of students in a classroom setting. We welcome people with or without experience but we are particularly interested in people who have some training or knowledge in working with EAL students or students with physical difficulties. Our intake of pupils reflects a culturally rich and diverse community and we value the partnerships we have with our parents and local community.
Following a capital build with an investment of £10 million, the Academy provides an excellent, well-resourced teaching environment. “Leaders know their school well” our OFSTED inspection recognised (February 2017) and further judged the school to be ‘good’ in all categories. “Staff, pupils and parents fully support the headteacher’s vision and would recommend this school to other parents”. “Pupils have embraced the school’s values and ethos. As a result they behave well in lessons and the school is calm and orderly”.

About Chiltern Hills Academy
Chiltern Hills Academy is a Church of England, co-educational secondary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. There are circa 1025 students on the school roll, approximately 100 of whom study in the Sixth Form. Chiltern Hills Academy converted to academy status in 2011 and is jointly sponsored by the Diocese of Oxford and Buckinghamshire Council.
We are situated in the market town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire in the Chiltern Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated close to the M40 and the M25, Chesham is on the end of Metropolitan line of the London Underground and is 28 miles north-west of London. There is ample parking on-site. Renting here is cheaper than in central London and if you enjoy travelling, it takes about 40 minutes by car to Heathrow.
The Elgiva Theatre, Lowndes Park and an open-air heated swimming pool are just some of the many public amenities available in the town. Chesham is renowned for its community spirit and there are many recreational and community groups catering for the diverse and active population.
