Welling School is an all ability, co-educational 11-18 school, located in the London borough of Bexley. We are looking for a creative and inspiring colleague to work alongside our teachers in supporting our students – particularly those who need us even more, in order to achieve their absolute best often because they have complex and individual needs. Sometimes you will be working with individuals or small groups in our specialist learning support areas and at other times you will be supporting in mainstream classrooms - making a real difference to our students and their progress. No two days will ever be the same - although they will always be rewarding and exciting.

Your previous experience as a learning support professional is less important to us than your clear vision on what can be achieved for our students and how we can motivate and inspire them to achieve great things. Because you have a calm, personable and patient manner and because you are creative, persistent and interested you will know why that is. An interest in supporting students in developing self regulation would be advantageous.
