Barton Peveril Sixth Form College situated in Eastleigh, Hampshire is one of the largest (over 4,700 students in 2022) and most successful sixth form colleges in the country.

  • OFSTED judged the College Outstanding across all four key judgements: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
  • We are oversubscribed and well regarded in our community.
  • Our financial management has been excellent allowing us to invest in an estate (over £28 million in 10 years) which seems more like a university than a school.
  • Our curriculum is made up of A level and Level 3 Applied General courses. These are supported by over 90 enrichment courses designed to broaden our students’ skills, employability, health, and commitment to their communities.


80% of second year students move on to Higher Education including to the most selective universities. We draw students from all over the south Hampshire area from a full range of backgrounds and are committed to meeting the needs of individuals and to raising aspiration.
