Haberdashers’ Aske’s   Crayford Academy is a very successful 3-18 school, proud to belong to the   Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation. We offer an exciting and innovative model   for education within the community that we serve, with broad appeal to   parents and pupils alike.

The   Role

Crayford Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic   and dedicated Sixth Form Learning Support Assistant to provide academic and   pastoral support to students as well as administrative support to the Sixth   Form Team.

The post holder will have the opportunity to   become part of a dynamic team working directly alongside the Head of Sixth   Form and Careers Co-ordinator. 

Position Summary: The opportunity to take   ownership of the Independent Study Rooms and support the Sixth Form team in   continuing to provide excellent provision to our post-16 students. Ensuring   students achieve their personal and academic goals through one to one   mentoring with every student. It will also involve working alongside the   Careers Co-ordinator to assist students with personal statement writing, university   and higher apprenticeship applications.  There is also an administrative side to the   role, including the organisation and over-seeing of educational visits.

The candidate will be an enthusiastic and   dynamic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The   role is full time. The successful candidate will be highly adaptable with the   flexibility to work both individually and as part of a team.
