Learning Support Assistants Required
Oaklands is a thriving special school based in Isleworth and serving the London Borough of Hounslow. Oaklands pupils aged 11 – 19, have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism.
Oaklands is at an exciting point in its development; we are currently working towards expansion and full school relocation to a purpose built new school in Hounslow for September 2018. The schools will be based on two sites and will consist of a new primary school (New Oaks) opening in Sep 2019, along with the current secondary school (High Oaks) and an independent post 19 college (Great Oaks) opening September 2018.
We are looking for enthusiastic members of staff with good team working skills who have previous experience of working with young people who have special needs.
Oaklands believes that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our belief. Applicants must be physically fit and willing to undertake all aspects of personal care including toileting and feeding.
