Job overview

William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country’s first 16-19 comprehensive school.  We offer 850 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level.  WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community which has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.

We are looking for a flexible, practical and enthusiastic person with relevant experience and/or qualifications to join our Learning Support team. You will support the learner in both lessons and non-educational activities, e.g. arrival and departure, break times, trips and outings. You will also contribute to reviews of the learner’s progress through monitoring, evaluation, providing feedback, etc.

You will be able to organise and prioritise a busy and varied workload and work well as part of a team. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a commitment and contribution to equal opportunities policies and practices. Previous experience of working with young people, particularly in the 16-19 age group, in a multicultural environment would be an advantage.
