We require an enthusiastic member of staff to work as a Learning Support Assistant at Three Rivers Academy. This role supports identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum. Three Rivers Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Hersham, Surrey. There are approximately 924 students at the school between 11-18 years.
Formerly Rydens School, Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College converted to academy status in 2012. The school opened in 1954.

The Hersham based secondary school wants students to enjoy learning outside of the classroom and offers a wide range of enrichment opportunities for them to get involved in, including drama productions, school trips and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. As a Business & Enterprise Specialist School, students are exposed to local and national businesses who provide them with vocational learning experiences and careers advice.

"The school’s work to promote pupils’ personal development and welfare is good. Pupils speak highly of the care and support given to them by the school and say that they are taught how to keep safe and understand how to stay safe when working online. They understand different forms of bullying and are confident that instances of bullying are dealt with quickly and effectively. Healthy living is supported effectively through sports and extra-curricular activities as well as in physical education and food technology lessons. The school has developed good links with other post-16 providers so that pupils receive a range of appropriate careers advice and support".
