Educating 1200 students, The Bishop’s Stortford High School provides a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 and has a large, thriving co-educational sixth form, with over one hundred girls on roll. We were graded Outstanding in every category by Ofsted in March 2017.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, dynamic and conscientious colleague. Learning Support Assistants work as part of the SEND team who are committed to going the extra mile to help make a real difference to the students in our care. This important position involves supporting learning for students with a variety of individual needs across a wide range of subjects, including the sports field, with ont-to-one, small group and whole-class support.

For this role applicants must be well-organised, have a good level of literacy and numeracy and a willingness to be pro-active. Effective communication skills is essential.

Last year our students achieved 84% 5 A*-C (Inc. English & Maths) at GCSE and 55% A*-B at A-Level. In March 2017 Ofsted judged the school to be Outstanding in every category.
