Required as soon as possible.

We require an enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated member of staff to work as a Learning Support Assistant at Cuddington Community Primary School on a temporary basis. This position will include supporting children within the Jubilee Centre on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. They will also be required to support children when they integrate into the mainstream to access learning.

Working pattern: Monday - Friday. 8.15am - 3.15pm, with 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

The successful candidate should possess a good level of numeracy and literacy as well as good interpersonal and listening skills and demonstrate a commitment to helping children achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning, emotional and social needs of the child. The successful candidate will be subject to a robust induction programme to support their transition into the role and training will be provided to support them when working with children with additional needs. Candidates can expect to receive safeguarding training, training in phonics, and specific training related to the needs of the child the will be working with.
