It is our aim to re-engage pupils in the life and routines of school, habituate attendance and develop socially adjusted young people who can successfully integrate into society and lead productive, purposeful lives.  The school attaches great importance on providing a varied and stimulating experience. Class groups are small with a high staffing ratio. This allows us to provide programmes of study which are personalised to meet individual needs. We need really great, passionate people to be part of our team to carry out immeasurably worthwhile work that truly does change lives

We are part of Acorn Care and Education, the second largest private sector provider of special needs education in the country operating 19 schools for children and young people who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs and also pupils who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviours associated with autism.

You will be able to reliably work to instruction as well as take the initiative when circumstances demand. An interest in supporting teaching and a desire to improve these students’ lives is essential.
