The Principal and Governors are seeking to appoint a Temporary Learning Support Assistant Level 2 to join our successful team (linked to external funding). The successful person will work with a small group of students and also one to one with a student who either displays social, emotional or learning difficulties.
Applicants should already have an appropriate Level 2 qualification or a desire to complete a Level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification. The academy is committed to the professional development of all staff and opportunities for training and career progression are available for the successful candidate.

About The Sutton Academy
The Sutton Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in St Helens, Merseyside. It is part of a single-academy trust called The Sutton Academy Trust and sponsored by St Helens College. The school will provide 1550 places to secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.
The school opened as a new provision in September 2010.
