ABC Teachers, part of TES, are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in an excellent Special Educational Needs school we work closely with in the Lichfield area, starting as soon as possible.
About the role:
• Supporting students with a wide range of moderate to more severe additional needs
• Full time, long term role, starting as soon as possible on an ongoing basis
• Working 1:1 and in small groups with students, providing support to the class teacher
About the school:
• The school caters for secondary aged students on one site with excellent facilities and resources.
• You will be working across age groups, supporting students with varied SEND, primarily ASD, physical needs, and moderate learning difficulties
• You will be surrounded by a positive and supportive staff team, where the needs of the child always come first
About you:
• Able to build a strong rapport with the students you support, as well as staff
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Essential that you have previous experience working with children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities which we can reference
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check
