Job overview

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 10 pupil with moderate to severe learning needs. 

The postholder would join the Student Support department which plays an integral role in supporting quality first teaching to all pupils within the academy. 

The position would suit an individual who is professional, energetic and enthusiastic with a real desire to support the Year 10 pupil, both academically and emotionally.

Belvedere was the first independent school to become an academy and is continuing the traditions and standards of its predecessor school.  We were judged outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in January 2015.

The Belvedere Academy is a non-denominational, non-fee paying secondary school specialising in all girls’ education and is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust, which has 23 independent schools and 2 academies.  The academy is heavily oversubscribed.  There are 839 students on roll with 273 in the Sixth Form.
