Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students. We are currently seeking two permanent Learning Support Assistants to make a significant contribution to our outstanding Learning Support programme area.  

Working closely with the teaching staff, you will provide in-class support on a range of courses from entry level 1 to level 3. You will also be required to provide high quality support for GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths. The roles are varied and will offer a rewarding opportunity to help our students achieve their full academic potential.  

In order to be considered for these roles, you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an organised and supportive manner. You should also have an understanding of inclusive education, and working with young people who have disabilities and learning difficulties.

The college maintains a number of formal partnerships with London universities, and has rigorous academic standards to best prepare students for life at university, should they choose to go. As part of this commitment, Leyton Sixth Form College also provides an annual higher education fair.
