Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm (Term-Time only, 39 weeks)

£19,000 per annum- term time actual salary (based on a full-time salary of £25,333)

Start dates for March 2023 available

We have both permanent and fixed term contracts available.

Flexible working is available. 

We are looking for motivated and pro-active individuals with a passion for special needs to work as part of our Learning Support Assistant Team to support students with their academic, personal and social development. This role is demanding and challenging, but very rewarding. 

West Heath School, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, works towards helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood. All of our learners have Education, Health and Care Plans and as a school we are proud to promote the development of life skills and social development as equal to academic achievement. 

The successful candidates will need use of their own vehicle, have a good level of Maths and English and a flexible approach to working as there may be occasions where student require support at external locations, such as therapeutic farms and colleges.

Our School

West Heath School is an Independent SEN residential school with charity status. We provide a therapeutically informed learning environment for children aged 10-19 who have suffered some form of trauma and are unable to access mainstream education.
