Job overview
Stamford High School are looking to appoint a part time (20 hours per week) Learning Support Assistant (LSA) on a fixed term contract for up to one year to cover a period of maternity leave.
The role of the LSA is to provide numeracy support for students with a range of difficulties to enable them to access the curriculum and progress to their full potential. The role will involve working within the Learning Support Department to support small groups of students to develop their skills, and supporting students in-class within lessons.
Applicants must have a good standard of education and be able to engage and motivate students.
