Learning Support Assistant

2 x Temporary Learning Support Assistants (initially up to 31st August 2018)

16.25 hours per week x 38 weeks per year

Position 1: 8.45am - 12.00pm

Position 2: 12:00pm - 3.15pm

Grade 2, points 11-13

Salary: £18,357 - £18,396 pro rata (£6,849 - £6,864 per annum, actual salary)

Parsonage Farm Primary is held in high regard within our local community and we are seeking 2 Learning Support Assistants to work in our 3 Form Entry School.

Our Learning Support Assistants work on a 1:1 basis with children who have significant learning needs. 

We would welcome applications from staff who have experience in the following. although training would be available for the right candidates:

• Cognition & Learning
• Langugae & Social Interactiom
• Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• Social Communication Difficulties
• PECS
• Sensory Processing
• Manual Handling Qualification

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed applicant who has:

• experience of working with children (essential)
• English and Maths Grade C GCSE or equivalent (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 (desirable)
