Learning Support Assistant Level 3 – Science Specialism
25 hours per week, term time only
Salary Scale Point: 16-19
FTE: £18,869 - £20,029 (this will be pro-rated in line with Academy terms & conditions)
Are you looking to make a difference to the lives of children and young people within the science curriculum?
We are looking for an individual who will be proactive, well organised, a team player and have good classroom management. The successful candidate will support the raising of standards and progress in Science.
Main responsibilities will be:
- Teaching Year 9 & 10 intervention groups working towards Level 4/5 (Grade C/B legacy) at GCSE level
- Planning and designing appropriate resources
- Supporting individuals requiring support to meet targets
- Working with the Science department to improve outcomes for students
Previous experience of working in a KS2, 3 or 4 school environment is desirable but not essential.
