Doha College is a high profile leading British international school, for children aged 3-18, with a focus on developing a growth mindset within our students and staff. We offer a well-balanced, all-embracing curriculum that follows the UK National Curriculum. 

We are now looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant for two children in our primary School, to start at the beginning of November 2018. The post holder will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to the children, responding to their personal needs and ensuring that they are able to access all learning activities. The Learning Support Assistant will be required to establish a constructive relationship with the children where they are encouraged to interact with others and engage in classroom activities and set challenging and demanding expectations that promote self-esteem and independence.

The ideal candidate would have some experience working with children and have an understanding of how to provide support to achieve the very best outcomes, some experience of working in an educational setting and above all, a supportive and sensitive approach to children with specific needs.

This is a non-sponsored position and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered. This is a fixed-term position for the current academic year in the first instance and is funded through an external source. The post holder will be employed to provide support to specific children and will only remain in the College’s employment while the funding is provided and while the children remain a pupil at the College. 

This position will be based at our Al Waab Campus.
