• School age range: 11-18
• Number on roll: approx. 2,000 (including 500 sixth form)
Term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, 38.2 weeks per year
Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm
You will work within the Learning Support team supporting students with hearing impairment. Students with hearing impairment are provided for both as part of our mainstream student cohort and within our HI Resourced Provision base.
You will take into account the student/s’ special needs and ensure their access to lessons and lesson content through appropriate clarification, explanations, equipment and materials.
You will offer:
• Essential experience of working with Hearing Impaired and Special Educational Needs
• An understanding of hearing impairment and effective approaches to supporting young hearing impaired people.
