Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm four days per week, 8.30am - 5.40pm one day per week

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is compassionate, has excellent communication skills and has previous experience of working with young people with additional needs including those on the Autism Spectrum, Educational Behavioural Difficulties, Anxiety and OCD. The successful candidate will specifically support a number of students on Education and Health Care Plans, offering in class, small group and 1 to 1 support, as they start their educational journey at MSM.  The Learning Support Assistant will provide extra specific support for the students in their academic, personal and social development. 

 This role will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering invaluable teaching and learning opportunities for the student and administrative support to the teachers and their parents, under the day to day direction of the class teachers and the leadership of the Head of Learning Development.

Mount St Mary’s College is an HMC independent day and boarding school for boys and girls, including A-Level studies. Our Preparatory School, Barlborough Hall is a day school and includes a Nursery provision. Following our most recent ISI inspection in October 2023, it was noted 'EYFS is effectively managed and the individual needs and abilities of the children are met in all areas of development.'
