We are seeking to appoint this role to our Learning Support Assistant Team at our Stratford-upon-Avon Campus. The purpose of this role is to support students with additional needs in the College to enable them to gain the maximum benefit from their time with us educationally.
Having worked in a supportive capacity with young people within a post 16 Further Education environment and possessing a sound understanding of the issues surrounding inclusive learning and equal opportunities, you will support students during theoretical and practical work during lessons.
Experience of providing administration support is essential as you will be required to maintain Additional Support paperwork within the Additional Needs Team.
You will be educated to GCSE Level English / maths or equivalent and ideally possess, or be prepared to work towards, a Learning Support qualification.
The current working pattern for this position is 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, the working pattern can be reviewed in September depending on student need.
