Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work in a busy Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Department, facilitating the provision of high-quality education to our students. This is an exciting opportunity to work at this highly successful secondary school. The suitable candidates will be passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential; confident, articulate and organised, with strong communication and IT skills. LSAs would be supporting students with SEND within a mainstream classroom on a daily basis. 

Experience will not be a determining fact, as we welcome applications from different career backgrounds. We will develop every staff member that joins our team, providing one-to-one support, coaching, mentoring and access to extensive professional development. 

The School 

Tomlinscote is a highly successful, oversubscribed, mixed comprehensive school of approximately 1500 students. Our staff enjoy working here because our standards, facilities and staff well-being are excellent.

Our students are a pleasure to teach and make excellent progress as shown by the positive examination data. All Tomlinscote students and teaching staff have their own iPad to enhance learning inside or outside of the classroom.

The Prospect Trust is a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the South of England, with an aim of providing outstanding education for all learners within a family of local academies. There are currently three academies within the Trust: The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School and Frimley Church of England Junior School.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SEND Department within an outstanding Secondary School, Tomlinscote. We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to provide an excellent level of support to students in the School.

Salary: Grade PS3 £19,313.00 - £20,257.00 FTE

Actual Salary: £16,614.86 - £17,426.98 per annum (based on 36 hours per week, term time only)

Contract/Hours: Full Time, 36 hours per week, term time only
