Job overview
Weelsby Academy are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from January 2020 to 31 August 2020. You will work under the direct instruction of teacher/support staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with a student with additional support needs on a 1:1 basis. Ideally you will have experience of working with people with learning difficulties in an educational setting, as well as a proven ability to motivate students and promote learning.
Salary: Grade C 4 - 6 (£18,426 - £19,171 FTE) pro-rata (£9.55 - £9.94 per hour)
Hours: 32.5 per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks) / Temporary
