Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed graduate to become a Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will support identified pupils to access the academic and social curriculum in order to achieve their expected levels of progress. You will need to be flexible and able to work under pressure and have an understanding of equal opportunities. We have a high success rate of Learning Support Assistants embarking on QTS programmes.
Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys school with a mixed sixth form of 350 students based in new buildings and with good transport links. Our last Ofsted inspection in October 2011 judged the school to be OUTSTANDING.
In 2016, 59% of pupils obtained both English and Maths at GCSE, 34% obtained the Ebacc and over a 100 pupils out of a cohort of 150 have gone to University. We are one of only 4 schools in the country to have been awarded STEM status, the only school in London to have a Combined Cadet Force on site and have opened our Cricket Academy this September.
