We are seeking to appoint a SENCO/Learning Support Co-ordinator who will continue the excellent work of the current postholder. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the provision of learning support in the School. Chigwell School offers an excellent learning environment providing a broad and balanced education. The SENCO/Learning Support department is highly significant both pastorally and academically, and it is key to ensuring pupils fulfil their full potential across the Junior and Senior Schools. This position is a full time maternity cover but part time will also be considered.

About Chigwell School

Chigwell School is an independent, mixed, Church of England all-through day and boarding school for four to 19-year-olds,  located in Chigwell, Essex. The school has just over 1060 pupils.

The school can trace its history back to 1629, when it was founded originally as a boys’ school. It is run as an educational charity, overseen by a board of governors who are also trustees of that charity.
