For August 2017, Bangkok Patana School seeks an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Learning Support teacher (LS) and/or Gifted and Talented (Extended Learning EL) teacher to work with children on the Learning Support register with learning and/or behavioural needs or the Extended Learning register. The LS or EL teacher works in a collaborative way, planning with class teachers and other professionals in order to support and develop children in mainstream classes. Experience of successfully teaching the English National Curriculum is beneficial and implementing recent UK initiatives is highly desirable. The willingness to be an effective team player and work closely with colleagues and parents is essential.

In addition, for a suitably-qualified and experienced candidate we are seeking a creative, dynamic and experienced leader to lead the Extended Learning Department. Recent experience of implementing current UK initiatives, excellent interpersonal skills and energy in abundance are key requirements. Shortlisted candidates will need to have demonstrated recent success in a leadership role.
The Extra-Curricular Programme is considered a vital and integral component in the education of our student community. Therefore, applications are particularly welcome from teachers with experience, passion and talent in the areas of visual and performing arts, community service, debate, outward-bound activities and sports.
