Learning Support Manager

The Growth Company – Education and Skills is one of the largest apprenticeship providers in the North West.  

We also deliver classroom-based provision from entry level through to degree level to young people and adults to help them to enter and progress in employment.  We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join our Quality and Development team.    We are looking for a committed professional with energy and drive to help us to develop and improve our systems for identifying, assessing and responding to the additional support needs of learners across all our programmes.  The post holder will also act as an internal source of advice and expertise on supporting additional needs and will be expected to coach and develop staff.   

This is a new post with plenty of scope for the post holder to shape the development of the role.  The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and organised individual with a strong background in providing additional support for learners including experience of working with SEND learners.  

Experience in SEN provision would be ideal but not essential.  Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified teachers with at least 5 years’ experience of providing learning support to young people and adults.
