The Director of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust and Governors of The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Officer with a focus on SEMH.

We are looking to appoint a committed, flexible and enthusiastic Learning Support Officer to support our students.

You will be required to work on your own initiative and within a team supporting the learning for the children.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have high standards and expectations of all children.
  • Be enthusiastic and an excellent role model to pupils.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to develop positive working relationships with children, staff and parents.
  • Interested in schools and children's education.
  • Flexible, adaptable, with a positive approach to working in a structured environment.

The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College holistically educates students from the age of 11 to 18 (Year 7 through to Year 13). We are part of the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust and belong to the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
