TECHNICIAN IN HOSPIATLITY
Salary up to £10,831.80 per annum
Located in Harlow
Part Time, 25 hours per week term time only working the following:
Monday-Wednesday 12:45pm - 5:00-pm Thursday 12:45pm-5:00pm then 6:30pm - 9:30pm Friday 11:45am-4:45pm
About the team
The team are pivotal in supporting the learning and development of the next generation of chefs and food service students. About the role The role of a Technician is to participate in the day to day activities supporting the hospitality team and students. This will include the supervision of students and work placements trainees, assisting in the preparation and use of learning materials and equipment as well as monitoring of stock, and on occasion ordering and receiving stock You will be required to use an industrial dishwasher and also monitor the organisation and hygiene of kitchens and store rooms. This role will require cleaning low and high level surfaces as well as lifting and moving equipment and ingredients within the kitchen.
What we are looking for
•Proven experience of working within the hospitality industry in a similar role • Knowledge of Health and Safety and hygiene regulations
•Have proven experience of working as part of an effective team, able to build & sustain effective working relationships.
