32.5 h p/w permanent (Term time + 5 INSET days)

We are seeking experienced/qualified, hardworking, committed and enthusiastic individuals.

You must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and be educated to GCSE grade C in English & Maths (or equivalent)

Successful candidates will:

  • Have experience of working with children and young people. Experience of working with children with SLD/PMLD/ASD is an advantage;
  • Have very good Communication and Numeracy skills;
  • Have the ability to use ICT effectively to support teaching and learning;
  • Have an enthusiastic, imaginative and caring approach to children with Special Educational Needs;
  • Be able to work as part of a team, building positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues including other professionals;
  • Have high expectations of student’s achievements regarding learning, independence and behaviour;
  • Be able to show initiative and be prepared to take responsibility for delivering programmes to individual and small groups of students.
