Hours: 37.5 hours per week (term time only)

As a Learning Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in their education and the planning of goals.

Experience is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and have the compassion and patience needed to support.

The successful candidate will also carry out a number of administration tasks, including writing reports for parents and external agencies, as well as daily paperwork.  You will be alert and observant with regards to the well being of the learners and aware of the specific needs of learners with Asperger’s Syndrome.  As a member of the team, you'll be sharing and recording information as appropriate.

Priory College Stroud campus is an independent specialist college for young people aged 16 to 25 with autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger's syndrome and associated complex needs including behavioural difficulties.
