Hours: 1 x 24 hours per week & 1 x 32 hours per week (term time only)

Priory Coleg Wales are looking to employ a proactive and enthusiastic individuals to work as part of our learner support team within the College.  

Duties will include:

  • Working 1:1 with allocated learners in the college environment
  • Offering support with academic work and building on independence and employability skills through our Independent Living Skills Programme
  • This is a term time role and a certain degree of flexibility is essential as hours are based around the learners timetable and learners will be in different colleges.

It would be preferable, but not essential, if applicants had previous experience of working with students with special educational needs and autistic spectrum conditions.  Knowledge of the Welsh language is also desirable but not essential.  Staff may be required to work outside term time if training is required.

Staff may be required to work outside term time if training is required.  The successful candidate will need to hold a full clean driving license with access to their own vehicle as travel to other campuses in the area is required.

Priory College North Wales is a specialist further education college for learners aged 16-25 with Autistic Spectrum Condition and a range of associated conditions. Priory College North Wales works in partnership with Coleg Cambria to deliver mainstream education with tailored support in education, independence and communication skills.

We also offer bespoke tailored programmes for students including therapies.  

References

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
