LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES MANAGER
Following the promotion of the current post holder, we require a Learning Technologies Manager as soon as possible.
The role would suit someone who wants to learn new skills, has an interest in technology, and wants to make a real difference in young people’s outcomes.
The successful applicant will co-ordinate the ongoing growth of the school’s learning systems and will become the specialist in this area. You will also be responsible for updating the school’s website, so a keen eye for detail is essential.
Applicants should have a good understanding of web based learning systems and be comfortable helping staff and students getting the most out of these systems. Experience of using Cloud Technologies would be an advantage. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Hours are 9.00 am to 3.00 pm (27.5 hours per week), term time plus two additional weeks during the school holidays (exact start and finish times maybe varied to suit the successful applicant).
Salary will be paid at NJC SCP Grade 8, point 26 to 30 from £15,207 to £17,432 per annum.

Jack Hunt School is a vibrant, multi-cultural, mixed 11-19 comprehensive school which has achieved much over the years.
We hold Specialist Language and Sports Specialist College status; Training Schools status and are part of the Leading Edge Programme.

Jack Hunt School History and Ethos
Jack Hunt School became a Beacon school in September 1999 for an initial period of 3 years. Following a successful application to the Department for Education and Skills, Beacon status was granted for a further three years with effect from September 2002. In 2004, Beacon schools came to an end nationally and Jack Hunt School successfully applied to become a Leading Edge School. Jack Hunt became a founding member of PKAT in 2018.

Facilities
Brand new £7m Dining Hall and English Block with a new full size all weather sports pitch, opened in September 2019. Fully equipped Science labs, ICT suites, Sports facilities, Superb Art, Design and Technology and Music classrooms.
Our Learning Support Department is well equipped with facilities such as a purpose-build Physiotherapy room, Sensory room, adjustable kitchen facilities, Wheelchair-accessible garden and greenhouse to name a few.
Jack Hunt Pool is an 82 feet (25 m) dual-use facility, built on the premises but open to the general public. Jack Hunt is also home to multiple extended school opportunities and classes, from Latvian and Chinese School and Church, to multiple sports classes such as Badminton, Tae Kwon-Do, Basketball, Rowing and Netball. The school is also the base of West Peterborough Dance School.
