Job overview

The Learning Technology Teacher (Preparatory) will be responsible for supporting the implementation and integration of technology throughout the Kellett community, in particular both preparatory campuses at Kowloon Bay and Pok Fu Lam.  

He/she will plan and co-teach with class teachers and subject leaders and provide regular and timely professional development opportunities for all staff, as well as assisting students and parents to ensure that the integration and use of technology reflects current best practices that are in line with the mission and educational philosophy of the school.  

Suitable applications should have the following:  

  • Excellent digital skills, as well as a strong pedagogical understanding of the potential of learning technology 
  • The ability to collaborate, inspire and lead in innovative and creative ways 
  •  An exemplary background in personal professional development
  • Experience of, or aspiration to a further degree, Google Certification or Apple Distinguished Educator status

Kellett is a through train school with campuses in Pok Fu Lam on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon Bay. The Pok Fu Lam campus is a Preparatory School (for ages 4-11 years old) in Wah Fu at the foot of Mount Kellett and overlooking Kellett Bay, while the Kowloon Bay campus houses a Preparatory and Senior School for students from 4 -18 years old. 

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and English National Curriculum, which includes GCSEs, IGCSEs and A levels. As our children progress through the school, they are encouraged to learn with growing independence in a challenging and stimulating environment.
