Lecturer 1 in Foundation Learning

Post Ref: 6262. Zero Hours. Casual (as and when required). £23,550.75 - £26,419.90 per annum (Pro rata)

Northumberland College is undergoing a significant transformation, as part of this transformation, work on our new specialist SEND facility which includes an independence hub, sensory room and employability hub will be complete by Autumn 2020. To support this development, we are seeking to recruit an excellent practitioner to support our Foundations provision based at Kirkley Hall Campus, the appointment of this post will be key to the College reshaping its SEND provision into an outstanding personalised provision linked to the support and learning needs of our students. Experience in Foundation learning or LLDD is required along with teaching experience and qualification

The role includes teaching life and independence skills, qualifications which support these skills as well as employability. You will also be responsible for ensuring the students have an exciting fully inclusive enrichment programme which supports wider skill development. The role also includes supporting the management of the programmes of study within the Foundations curriculum. 

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
